Terms of Service
Professional services engagements with Aevos, Inc.
This is a plain-language summary of the terms for Aevos professional services engagements. It is not a complete legal agreement. The written proposal you accept for an engagement sets out its scope, fees and dates, and forms part of that agreement.
The governing state for these terms is Delaware. Last updated: 2026-10-09.
1. Who we are
Aevos, Inc. is a company incorporated in the United States. We provide our services as Aevos. You can reach us at hello@aevos.io.
2. Engagements
We provide fixed-fee professional services. Each engagement is either a Stomp Audit or a Landing Safety Pilot, as described on our pricing page and in the written proposal you accept. Changes to scope need written agreement from both of us.
3. Fees and payment
- All fees are in US dollars (USD) and are invoiced.
- Stomp Audit: a 50% deposit to start, with the balance invoiced on delivery.
- Landing Safety Pilot: the deposit and payment schedule are stated in the written proposal.
- Invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice.
4. Delivery
A Stomp Audit is delivered as a written report with findings and fixes. Typical delivery is 1–3 weeks. For a Landing Safety Pilot, scope, timeline and deliverables are stated in the written proposal.
5. What the services can and cannot show
Please read this section carefully. It sets the limits of what we deliver.
- The Stomp Audit is a mechanical review of the git history it can read. It flags overwritten lines it can detect in the scanned history, for human review.
- Flags are review aids. They are not a measured accuracy or recall figure, and they do not prove that any behavior was preserved.
- No finding does not mean nothing was lost. The review covers only the history provided to us, and shallow clones and older history may be out of scope.
- The Landing Safety Pilot controls how agent changes land on the repository in scope. It does not replace your own code review, testing or release process.
- We do not guarantee that the audit or the pilot will catch every overwrite, failed landing or defect.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give us the repository access, history and information the engagement needs, and keep it accurate.
- Keep your own backups of your repositories.
- Decide which fixes to apply. You are responsible for changes you choose to land in your codebase.
7. Ownership and confidentiality
You own your code, and you own the reports and deliverables you pay for, for your internal use. We keep our tools, methods and general know-how.
We treat the code, repository content and other non-public information you send us as confidential. We use it only to perform the engagement.
8. Warranties and liability
We perform services with reasonable care and as described in the written proposal. To the extent the law allows, we give no other warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Deposits, refunds and cancellations are covered in our refund and cancellation policy.
10. Disputes and governing law
Please email hello@aevos.io first so we can try to resolve a dispute. These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States.
11. Promotions
Aevos does not currently run promotions or discounts. Any future promotion will state its own terms in writing.
12. Legal and export restrictions
Our services and any software we deliver are provided from the United States and are subject to U.S. export control and sanctions laws. We do not provide services to people or places prohibited by those laws.
13. Changes
We may update these terms for future engagements. The terms in a proposal you accepted apply to that engagement.
